Frequently asked questions

Should I choose FCL or LCL?
As a rule of thumb, a 20' full container becomes more economical for loads of roughly 13–15 m³ and above. LCL suits smaller consignments; the sensitivity of the cargo and the deadline also affect the decision. Share the dimensions and we will price both options.
What are the transit times?
Typically 7–14 days to European ports, 25–40 days to the Far East and 20–35 days to North America; route, transhipment and season are the determining factors.
What are demurrage and detention?
Daily charges that apply when a container exceeds the shipping line's free time inside the port (demurrage) or outside the port (detention). We prevent these costs by planning free time in advance.
